Get it Wright!

  My fellow Science students,

My name is Jordan Wright and this March I’m vying for the privilege to be your Science Undergraduate Society president. I am currently a third year Pharmacology major, so believe me; I understand the challenges and rewards of being a Science student at UBC. For the past three years, I have faithfully served Science students in a number of elected positions within SUS, including my current executive position as Director of Sports. I also have one year of experience as an AMS club president, founding and leading Lose The Shoes UBC. Throughout these years full of Science courses, it has been an absolute pleasure meeting many of you and discussing with you how SUS can serve you best. Now I am excited for this opportunity to act as your spokesperson and lead SUS through a year full of harmony and success.

Voting will open on Monday, March 21st. To vote for me, log in to the Student Service Centre, you will find the “WebVote” option under your “Grades and Records” tab. If you have any questions regarding my campaign, please contact me at [email protected].

The Science Undergraduate Society is a living entity made up of 7000 of the smartest people in the world, it cannot be manipulated like a chemical reaction. In order to lead, one must be able to do three things: get along with people, learn from people and inspire people. Allow me to do these things.

Cheers,

                                                                                                                                      Jordan Wright
