A More Professional Public Image For Your Undergraduate Society
A More Professional Public Image For Your Undergraduate Society
- A more welcome, organized and helpful reception of visitors to the SUS office
- Standardizing and improving the image of all SUS-related media and communications
- Embracing the new council structure and promoting the effective representation of all Science student groups – leaving no stone unturned
- Serving as an effective chair in council meetings – ensuring that every Science student has an opportunity to express their opinion and that every discussion and vote remains open and unbiased
- Defining councilor and executive roles more precisely
- Installing a recycling/composting unit in the Abdul Ladha Centre
- Purchasing only recyclable or biodegradable materials
for events and promotions
- Acquiring new, more suitable furniture for your Abdul Ladha Centre – mobile to facilitate event set-up and organized to use the space more effectively
- Installing further academic resources in Adbul Ladha Centre – public computers, electrical outlets for personal laptops and designated study group areas
- Further improvements – procuring new microwaves
and other convenience items for students
- Acting as a strong spokesperson for all undergraduate Science students when liaising with the Faculty of Science, the AMS, UBC administration, other faculty undergrad societies and other campus groups
- Supporting new student initiatives
